Introduction

So you're thinking about purchasing a heated vest...Great!  Now what?  There are numerous brands that offer heated vests, there are various styles, and a range of price points.  Especially if you're new to heated apparel, the many options may seem intimidating!  How ever could you choose the right product?!?  Rest assured, The Warming Store staff are the experts in heated apparel and we'll do our best to help you find the best option for you.  We hope this buyer's guide will aid in your decision making, but feel free to contact us at 888-406-1984 or support@thewarmingstore.com for further assistance.

Where will the heated vest be used most frequently?  Will the user be riding a motor vehicle such as a motorcycle snow mobile, or will the user primarily use the vest away from a power source?

These questions are important because there are two power options for heated apparel:  Battery powered (portable) or direct connect (wired to a power source).  The Battery powered options are powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries whereas the moto-inspired options connect directly to your motorcycle, AVT, or snow mobile's battery for power.  Our most popular options are battery-powered due to their ease of use and portability.  If you are primarily interested in the 12v options, please skip to the MOTO section toward the bottom of this guide.
